This temple, Sri Varadaraja Perumal Devasthanam or Vishnu Dham, firmly adheres to the Sri Ramanuja sect of Vaishnava theology, based on Vaishnava religions (Pancharatras and Vaikhanas) and nurtured by Vaishnava saints (Alvars), who are 12 in number . by Vaishnava Acharyas. sect, The one who was following the philosophy (referred to as Nandiism) was given by Sri Ramanuja by writing a classic work on Brahmasutra (Uttar Mimamsa or Simarakaminsa of Badrinarayan). The Sampradaya was nurtured and supported by the Ramanuja Acharyas. The temple closely follows the tradition and philosophy of the Ramanuja Sampradaya. This is one of the best attractive temples of Bihar. and almost famous. Tourists came to see him and pray here. We see many idols of Lord Vishnu. One of the best things here is the creative old version that looks amazing. Some essential items are also present here like guesthouse, medical, Sweet Corner etc. Each day's prayer is performed three times on the first day in the morning and ends in the evening of the second day. Especially Saturday nd Sunday. The temple is more colorful and bright attractive. If you go there you can find out everything I ever told. I suggest you to visit this place. And visit this temple, I like most of all.

Many legends related to Bhimshankar Mahadev are famous. It is said that Pandavas son Bhimsen stopped here and offered prayers to the deity Shiva while going to Viratnagar Nepal in order to remain incognito. From that time people started to know Dev Sthal by the name of Bhimshankar Mahadev. There is no concrete evidence of how old the Shivling is or what is the history of the temple, but the existence of the temple was also in the Mahabharata period. The revival of the temple was done in 1930 AD.
The temple is very old and of historical importance. The lower part of the temple is attached to a mountain. There is no authentic document regarding the establishment of Shivling but many legends are prevalent about it. According to a popular legend, several hundred years ago this area was surrounded by a dense forest.
Here the cowherds used to come to graze their cows. If a virgin Kamdhenu cow used to stand at a certain place every day, milk would automatically start falling from her place. One day Gopalak saw this scene himself. When everyone dug together, a Shivling was found.
